Career and Technical Instruction (CTI) support service is designed to assist high school students with disabilities who are enrolled in Career, Technical or Agricultural Education (CTAE) courses. In these courses, students acquire employability skills that ease their transition to post-secondary or the workforce. The CTI program goal is to provide learning support in the CTAE environment, instruction, and opportunities that will result in entry level positions and self-determination skills. CTI services may be provided in the classroom and lab environments. Services may be consultative or collaborative. CTI’s provide CTAE instructors with student information specific to their course; including IEP components, accommodations/modifications and any behavior concerns. CTI’s support CTAE instructors to meet individual student needs.
