Below is a list of all procedures the lab is implementing to mitigate and prevent COVID exposure to the greatest extent possible. These procedures will be done in conjunction with the Hall County School District’s COVID Procedures.

  • Employees/Interns will do a temperature check each day. If an individual’s temperatures exceeds 100 degrees, they may not enter.
  • Employees/Interns shall not enter the lab or The Oaks building if they feel sick in any way. They should remain at home and contact their supervisor ASAP.
  • Employees/Interns must wash and/or sanitize their hands regularly.
  • Employees/Interns will maintain 6’ social distancing whenever possible and to the greatest extent possible.
  • Employees/Interns are encouraged to use only 1 computer for the day. They should disinfect the area/keyboard/mouse when switching between computers with others. The computers should NOT be sprayed directly. A microfiber cloth should be sprayed and used to disinfect the computer.
  • Equipment should be disinfected before another person uses it. (Example: The heat press handle should be wiped down before another intern uses it.)
  • High-touch areas (doors, heat presses, computers) should be disinfected regularly, especially when people enter/exit.
  • Only lab employees/interns and Hall County School District Staff shall be permitted to enter the lab. All customers should meet with lab employees/interns in Get Gifted or on Main Street. Customers should not go back into the lab.
